How does Cytopulse systems work?

Electroporation is a very efficient way to allow molecules such as nucleases to enter any type of cells, with applications ranging from research and bioproduction to agriculture and therapeutics.

Available products

All available products can be purchased from Harvard Apparatus and licenses for applications other than research use can be granted by Cellectis. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Agile Pulse™ In Vivo System
Is an in vivo system designed to target skin and muscle tissues for vaccine delivery or gene therapy applications. Best suited for when high doses and robust immune responses are desired. The AgilePulse™ system primarily targets the dermis layer of skin. This area is an immune system organ. It utilizes a two-step process where a therapeutic is first injected by hypodermic needle, then followed by insertion of a needle array electrode and pulse sequence delivery. Hybrimune™ (mAb Discovery)
BTX antibody discovery technology enables efficient creation of a large variety of monoclonal antibodies.  Monoclonal antibodies are increasingly being approved for clinical applications and the need for monoclonal antibodies for clinical diagnostics is strong.  Phases in the discovery and creation of monoclonal antibodies are: target selection, vaccination of animals (usually mice or transgenic mice), immortalization of B cells or cloning of antibody genes and manufacturing of the antibody. Agile Pulse MAX™ (Large Volume Transfection)
Agile Pulse MAX™ is a large volume in vitro electroporation cell transfection system. BTX's intellectual property portfolio in cell transfection, including patents and patents pending, enables direct scale-up of basic reasearch and industrial applications without increasing process complexity. Click here for more information.

BTXpress Medium
The leader in low-conductivity electrofusion medium, BTX proprietary BTXpress Cytofusion® Medium is designed to promote efficiency while preserving high cell viability during cell fusion. This proprietary blend is sterile filtered and made of only the highest quality medical-grade chemicals. Click here for more information.
